Apparently deciding I'm going to start eating healthy and change my diet isn't enough this time. Self restraint? Ha! Fruit? Do you mean chocolate? Exercise? Yeah, on alternate Tuesdays.
If you haven't already guessed, in the last two weeks I have not been pro-active. I have eaten crap every other day, only eating healthy on days beginning with a 'T'. My exercise plan is non-existent. I have just been... Lazy.
The scales show this. 110.5kg, a gain of 300g or 0.3KG. Obviously it could be worse.
Last time jumping onto the healthy train was easy, this time? Super hard. My cravings for junk food and carbs is gigantic. Having these foods in the house doesn't help either.
Today is a new day, and yesterday I stuck to my diet fully (it wasn't even a day starting with a 'T'!) so hopefully this week goes well.
Time to take a lesson from my childhood - No means no! If I tell myself no once I need to stick to that, even if the cravings don't go away...

The Ramblings of a Sammi
You know the best thing about having a blog? In this day and age you can pretty much post from any where.
On the couch? Write a blog. On the train? Write a blog. At the shops? Write a blog. Hiking? Not going to stop me writing a blog.
iPhones, iPads, Andripd tablets, etc all let us write a blog on the go.
And for me? This is awesome news! Instead of waiting till I get home (and forgetting to post an update) I can write my update on my iPhone and post it straight to you! All while standing in the cold and rain at the train station :D
Apart from my ramblings about the awesomeness of technology, this update does actually have a point. I had my first weigh in :)
I wanted my weigh-in day to be Monday/Tuesday. Which means I only have had 5 (6?) days since my "new week 0" weigh-in. With changing the weigh-in day from Friday to Tuesday I couldn't be picky about wanting the full 7 days and I didn't want you all to wait 10 days for my first weigh-in results.
Before I tell you the results of this weigh-in let me say this week has not been easy. It has been stressful and tiring. However I have stuck to my diet (though I probably could do with going to the gym more...) and the results have shown.
My weight? 110.2! That is a weight lose of 2.3KGs (assuming my math isn't as bad as my grammar... :D)
Hopefully this next week goes just as well. I am expecting my weight losses to even out around .5-1kg's a week (which is a normal and healthy weight loss) so I'm not going to be worried if I don't pull a big number next week (though it would be awesome ;-) )
With Valentines day on Thursday I am a little worried about my self control when my partner and I go out for dinner. We will have to see how I do when the time comes I guess! :)
One last thing - Happy Chinese New Year everyone! I hope you all have a great year of the snake, a great week and (if you have a special someone) a fabulous Valentines day! :)

The New Week Zero!
Wow, it's been so long since I updated this blog... I had forgotten how pumped I was to be losing weight!
My last update was the 1st July... last year! The stats I had put at the top of the page were:
Total Weight loss so far - 15.5KG
Current Weight - 107.2KG
Goals - 80KG by June 2013; 70KG by the end of 2013
I am reporting that these stats are no longer correct. My current weight as of this week (the new week zero) is 112.5KG.
It's a little sad that I have put weight back on. However it isn't a lot and I am super excited to be back on the horse and looking forward to losing that weight and more till I reach my goals! :D
So I have my new starting point! I am pumped. I hope you all can look forward to hearing more of my ramblings and weight losses in the coming weeks.
My goals have obviously changed, as will be altered at the top of this page.

The best intentions
So despite my best intentions, I have still been failing to blog.
So since I figured a quick update was better then none.
So you are now lucky to be getting what is now becoming a rare glimpse into my life- thanks to my iPhone and blogging on the go.
So as of last thursday, and my latest weigh-in I now weigh 108.4kg
This is okay I feel and (hopefully) this week I can pull I nice number to really feel like I'm back.
So, mind me asking or some help? I would love some comments below to help motivate me to blog more. Either way, with or without a comment, thank you so much for all your support just by taking the time to read my ramblings.

The Slackers Trap
Its a Trap!
Seriously, I have become quite slack in my blogging and as such have fallen into the trap of honestly forgetting to blog...
Last week I was meaning to write a blog - if nothing else then to let you know there was no weigh in as I was sick.
But between being sick and life I absolutely forgot.
Now my next weigh in is literally tomorrow I thought I should probably let you know I have fallen off the edge of the world and my weight lose journey is continuing (with many issues and dramas that I will write a separate blog for tomorrow).
So tune in tomorrow when I will try to write about my (hopeful) weight loss and the problems I have been having with my diet (snacking).

Weigh-in time..
So I was a bit slack yesterday...I had my weigh-in but there was no blog update! Oops!
So despite feeling like I had a good week, I only lost 0.6kg. While this is actually my weekly weight loss target (as it is realistic and healthy) I am still quite heavy so (hypothetically) should lose a bit more weight for a bit longer. Either way I'm not worried as it is still on target!! :-) So I am happy.
Downside - I have been very slack with my food diary and blogging (sorry guys :-( ). So while I feel it's been a good week I have no physical (electronic)
proof of what I ate... Again... Woops.
So this week - entering food into my food diary is my goal I think! :-)
What are your goals for the week? If your in the Southern Hemisphere I'm sure it's to stay warm! If your lucky enough to be in the Northern part of the world - I envy you and your current summer! ;-)

Week 8 weight loss and Week7 Photos!!!
After an exhausting week of "all work and no play" this fat girl got to have another weigh-in... and (low and behold) she is now lighter then before (offically hehe) - 110.9Kg.
I am happy my weight loss this week (1KG), it is a safe and normal weight loss for a one week period.
Goals for the coming week? More exercise, and cutting down on sugars (mostly fruits as I haven't been eating a lot of junk) after 5pm!!

ALSO ... Here are my photos - me at 111.9KG :)

So sorry I made you guys all wait an extra week for these - I haven't had time to up load them before today...
